Bears | Police and courts: Urlacher entitled to overnight visits
Mon, 10 Jul 2006 19:52:09 -0700
Carmen Greco Jr., of the Chicago Tribue, reports Chicago Bears LB Brian Urlacher is entitled to overnight visits with his 13-month-old son, according to a Will County judge ruling. "I don't get to see him as much as I'd like. We (he and the mother) have conflicts most of the time," said Urlacher during his testimony. Tyna Robertson, the child's mother, fought Urlacher's request initial request for the boy to stay with him for the remainder of the summer. Robertson said during her testimony she feared the child would suffer "separation anxiety." After the trial was moved back from July to October, Urlacher's lawyers amended the request to seek overnight stays. Judge Ludwig Kuhar ruled Urlacher could keep his son overnight for two nights per month until the custody case is decided.
