For the second year in a row, the Bears will be without a Pro Bowl linebacker for the start of their voluntary off-season program, in part because of an unresolved contract situation....

ESPN Radio (Mike & Mike) is reporting Urlacher is now threatening to retire or demand a trade. Can't find a link yet.

Hey, maybe we can get Urlacher too. ;)
LOL
Nah, I would rather get Allen and stick with the LB corps we have.

This is good news!
If he gets shipped out of Chi-town it just opens up better opportunity's for AD!!!

He wont though.
He just signed a long term contract for a buttload of cash in 03.
There is no way they will trade him.
And the medical retirement is just a ploy.

here come the ineveitable...
Lets get him, imagine our defense with Allen, Pepper and Urlacher.
We'd be best in the league..... :)
I would say AD had no problem running on them the first time we played them in chicago
Re: Unhappy Urlacher to skip Bears' 1st voluntary workout
I love the fact that Urlacher is causing such a stir.. good for the Bears, Lovie did too much hand holding and ass kissing in his first couple of years and it is all comming tumbling down.. the Bears weren't going anywhere this season already.. this just adds fuel to the basement dwellers fortunes.. couldn't happen to a better franchise.

Man the Bears are looking good for next season.
16-0!
