Thread: Underrated QB in the NFL.....

Who would you say is the most underrated qb in the league? People seem to talk about those who are overrated, but not the underrated.

I would have to say David Carr.

I agree...David Carr will dominate once the Texans get him some decent linemen!!!

I would have to say Gus Frerotte. No matter where the guy goes and gets success, he never gets any love. This year especially. His struggling Dolphins team won 9 games yet they still want to get rid of him for some unproven rook. I hope he gets one more year to start to show them again what he is made of.

EDIT:

Carr would be a close 2nd or 3rd on my list. You can give the guy all the lineman he needs, but his mechanics are still in question. If he could get a good QB coach to work with him, he could be great. He definatly has the most potential of any starting QB in the NFL.

really? I live in Houston so I get to see him suck up the joint first hand every week. I would have to go with Big Ben. that boy can light it up when he wants to. He did it to indy with ease.

david carr gets no love he was pressured worse then pep and we saw what happens when you get no time.

matt hasselbeck is underrated no one really talks about him but he is a great qb and gets the job done

Trent Green has astronomical numbers and is a top notch QB but no one EVER talks about him.

He is extreemly underrated.

I would say Green then Hasselbeck followed by Carr.

Ryan Leaf. Many say he was the biggest bust in NFL draft history. There are at least a few picks that were bigger busts.

I'll say Carr, with the right supporting cast, this guy could be good, really good
