Ultimate 40 Man Super Bowl Roster
This is sickening...lot's of Steelers on the list so far. A lot of great games at the Vikings' expense. It's on ESPN right now (9:30 ET) if you guys want to watch it. It will be interesting if any Vikes or Bills made the list.
Edit: It's a list of the 40 best players by position in the Super Bowl. Just thought I'd clarify!

Re: Ultimate 40 Man Super Bowl Roster
I dont have much of a problem with the ones I have seen ... there would have to be predominantly Steelers (5 SBs), Cowboys (8 SBs), 49ers (5), Redskins (5), Patriots (5), Dolphins (5 I think), Broncos (6) and all of these teams have multiple wins ... I think it would be odd to see Vikings on there considering they played very poorly in all the Super Bowls they were in really. They just were not good ... the Bills also did not play all that well though they do have some numbers that were pretty good.

Re: Ultimate 40 Man Super Bowl Roster
Jake Scott and Dick Anderson (Dolphins), Ted Hendricks (Oakland), Hamm, Lambert, Greene and Greenwood (Pittsburgh) all made the list on defense. Ugh...

Re: Ultimate 40 Man Super Bowl Roster
Jan Stenerud made it as the kicker! Argh! Even the kicker is in at our expense! What pisses me off the most is that the Vikes should have stomped the Chiefs that day.
Larry Csonka (Doplhins) made it as the backup running back. (big freaking surprise :roll
Franco Harris (Steelers) also made it as a running back.
Stallworth (Steelers) made it as a starting WR.
Bob Kuchenberg (Dolphins) made it as a backup guard, Gene Upshaw (Raiders) made it as a guard, Jon Colb (Steelers) was a backup tackle and Art Shell (Raiders) was one of the starting tackles and Mike Webster (Steelers) was the starting center.
That means 16 of the 40 were there (at least in part) due to the Vikes. This is sad. I need a hug. Sorry to drum up bad memories/experiences, but misery loves company.
Edit: Bradshaw made it too. Make that 17!
No Bills and no Vikes. What a bunch of bookie!
Oh, and of course Lombardi is the "coach". Gag!
