U.S. Soldier in Iraq wins trip to Super Bowl XLII

A United States soldier is coming all the way from Iraq to attend Super Bowl XLII in Arizona!

Packages From Home, Triwest and the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee teamed up to create this groundbreaking opportunity--the military rarely allows troops to leave during their tours of duty.

On January 29, U.S. Airman 1st Class Chadwyck S. McDaniel will take a short break from his duties in Iraq to enjoy an all-expense paid trip to Arizona where he will reunite with his family to watch Super Bowl XLII at University of Phoenix Stadium.

Airman McDaniel was randomly chosen from the the troops stationed at Camp Speicher in Tikrit, about 100 miles northwest of Baghdad.

Along with game tickets, Airman McDaniel and his family will enjoy a luxurious stay at a Valley resort, drive around town in a new Cadillac and attend VIP parties, like the Host Committee’s Big Ticket Gala with Jay Leno, ESPN’s Chris Berman and NFL Hall of Famers.

After watching Super Bowl XLII in Glendale on February 3, 2008, McDaniel will return to Iraq the following day.

Good idea and credit to all involved in arranging it - nice that the military allow him to go too

    Blah, guess im being bias...

but give it to someone in the army.
The air force is only over there for 4 months generally (6 if they are Security)... while the army is over there for 15 months...

    Once again, im bias!
In the end though, it is a great thing.
    Hope he has fun!

cant we just fly all the soldiers home for the superbowl? dont sell or give away any tickets to these rich and spoiled assholes in suits with their wives and children who dont even know what football is..just give all the tickets to the us army
People who see life as anything more than pure entertainment are missing the point.
