Re: Ty Law to play for the Detroit Lions?

This could make the Lions dagerous short-term, but if they are not careful they could end up in cap trouble in a few years.

Ty Law is a good corner, and thats the last type of player we want to see a divisional rival sign..

Detriot in for sure on the rise, but I still believe we will take the Division this year....

I sure hope Detroit doesn't get him. That would be tough to have to play against him twice a year from now on. If we still had moss I wouldnt be to worried, but I'm sure that Law good pretty much take care of Nate.

I am not afriad of Ty Law. I think he is still a good corner but not at the same place he was at a few years ago. He isn't as good as Champ Bailey etc.

Law worked out today in Detroit and apparently impressed them enough to make him an offer. I don't think they have actually made an offer yet because according to what I heard they are going to have to "crunch some numbers first."
They better crunch numbers good because they can't afford Law. I mean, when Kansas City signed Bell all Ty Law could say was he would continue to be interested in Kansas City if they could afford him, but he didn't think they could because they signed Bell.
I'm not sure what Kansas City has left for cap room now but Detroit doesn't have enough. At least I doubt it. They still haven't signed any of their draft picks.
In a way, I hope Detroit does get Ty Law. They will be in cap hell right about the time they finally realize they need to get a new QB, and the Vikes will still beat 'em.

I think either jacksonville or the jets will get Law, from the sounds of it right now. If pitt was smart, they would try hard to get him, to help their D backfield, which is the weak part of their D.

According to Law, his foot is now 100%. I saw it on ESPN or the NFL network.

I don't think he is gonna be as good as he was in NE, but still he is a heck of a football player and I would rather see him stay in the AFC or at least not in our division. But I don't think he makes detroit that big of a threat to us. I still see GB as a bigger threat to us, as long as they have #4.
