The explanation isn't quite as simple as making, well, scrambled eggs.
But Dolphins quarterback Trent Green still managed to make it clear upon his arrival in South Florida that he isn't likely to experience any added mental symptoms as a result of a concussion in September...

Just have to see how he stands in the pocket. I bet he'll have "Happy Feet", and I'm sure he won't be running to much. You can't play scared. Just a little smarter.

There's bravado and there's stupidity.
I bet you can tell which side I believe Green's statement falls into....

Re: Trent Green has no fear of additional concussions
As long as he jiggles his head and his eyes don't roll in his head or his brains fall out of his head he should be ok.

With that hit he sustained last year, I suspect the fear was pounded right out of him.

Re: Trent Green has no fear of additional concussions
What is he supposed to say, something like " Yeah, it scares the shit out of me every time I break a huddle and I hope they keep Culpepper under contract in case I buckle"?

Future concussions are a real probability, and I know from my previous recovery problems that they are more serious than most folks understand.
I will work with the Chiefs and the NFL, as well as helmet manufacturers to ensure that I have the best protection possible in the upcoming season.
