Heck, if Randy is on the trading block, we should take a shot at him...I wouldn't give more than next year's first rounder for him though...I would prefer to give them a player and a lower round pick instead.
We would get the INSTANT deep threat...which would open up our underneath routes...AND make our strong running game even stronger!!!
Bury the hatchet...and get Moss!!!
That way, he can retire as a Viking...just like Sir Francis did!!!
Let's look into some of his recent quotes.
Oct. 10, 2006
"I've had my times the last two years that I went up there," Moss said in an interview with Fox Sports Monday, Oct.9. "Most of the times I go up there, I'm usually talking to Freddie Biletnikoff, my wide receivers coach. But going up there and voicing my opinion is like going up there and wasting time. I don't even go."Sept. 13, 2006
"I think coach Art Shell just has a tight grasp on us, man. Knowing that you're a man, you're a certain age and this man is treating you like kids or a boy or whatnot. I'm not crying, I'm just going on what is brought to my attention. It might be small things like food, or full pads,"Sept. 9, 2006
"It's crazy around here, man," Moss said. "It's something that we're trying to hold on to, man, and, hopefully, Coach Art (Shell) can move us in the right direction, man, so I'm just trying to stay away from all of that stuff this year, like I did last year and, hopefully, we can win some games."Aug. 16, 2006
head coach Art Shell said during a teleconference Tuesday, Aug. 15, that he will not tolerate outbursts from WR Randy Moss regarding playing time in the preseason. Moss was critical of Shell for taking Moss out early in the team's preseason game Monday, Aug. 14. "I made a decision to take him out," Shell said. "There was a time for him to play, and the time for him had come and gone. It was time to get him out of there. I don't need to have a conversation about that."Aug. 14, 2006
"I don't see it," Moss said, when asked if Oakland's offense is making progress. "Hell, no, I don't see it. But what we're doing as far as practice, it seems that way in practice, but when we get to the games, it doesn't seem like we're moving in the right direction."Yep, you're right.July 7, 2006
"I wanted to play with Atlanta just for the fact of Michael Vick's elusiveness, and I wanted to play with a guy such as Ray Lewis because he's on defense and I'm on offense," said Moss.
He sure would make a great acquisition.
What a team player.
Better him than T-HO!
Plus, if the Patsies are willing to consider him, we have to look at him as well.BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

When did the vikings become perrenial playoff contenders? That would be a scary trade.
Moss is still a force to be reckoned with.
I am OK with him playing in Oakland because he doesn't pose a threat the the Vikes... but the Patsies are perrenial playoff contenders, so the chances of us meeting one day in the post season is a little too risky.
I dont care where he goes as long as it is in the AFC.
The odds of the vikings playing moss in the super bowl even if was playing with the pats is slim to none.
We dont have a chance this year.
No one deserves to be in Oakland, not even farve deserves that crap they have there.
I would be just like him if i was stuck there too, who wants to play on a team with no direction at all?
I dont care if he makes millions, if you hated your job that much, more than likely you could look around, he cant, he is still tied into his mn contract, the team he thought he would retire with.
You republican whore!

Postseason appearances:
1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1980, 1982, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2004.
The longest stretch of not being in the playoffs occurred from 1961-1967, since then they have been rather consistent.

Plus, if the Patsies are willing to consider him, we have to look at him as well.
That gives him a right to whine to the press every chance he gets.
What makes you think for a second that he won't whine the first time something doesn't go his way in Minnesota.
I see no indication of that happening during his NFL tenure, he's a whiny baby.
Let him rot in Oakland.Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please. Mark Twain

Re: Trade talks heating up!!!
I'd have no problem with him expressing his opinion to the media.. Hell most people do..
He is 10 times the team player T-ho is..
With all that being said.. We aren't getting him.. So it's a moot point

Character aside I would have to go with TO over Randy any day, but that is just me. They are both good. One is still putting up numbers one is not. You only have so many years.......his HOF plaque is going to be handed to someone else....
Tick tock tick tock tick tock.....
He's still rich though. So at least he has that to hang his hat on.

top WR, or in this case the top WR i think beating a nickelback and NOT having alligator arms would be top of my priority list. i'd rather have a randy who hasnt had a decent qb in oakland than TO who has had an adequate enough offense
in dallas.
oh, and BTW, i HATE new england!!! 1a? come on. go vikes!!!
