Maybe not a "bust" by traditional definition, but how about....

"With the 29th pick in the 1999 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings select Demetrius Underwood."

Wow, that psycho was gone in like 3 months. At least worthy of honorable mention if nothing else.

Ha! I knew Mandarich had to be on the list somewhere.

    Harrington is already in there

I'm not sure about that one....I think he might have just been a victim of a bad system.

    Thanks Josdin00 for the sig!

I think coaching early on in a players career can really affect the rest of his career. I don't think he was brought along right possibly. I'm not saying that all busts are a result of coaching, but I think some are.

    Thanks Josdin00 for the sig!

Any list that does not have Tim Couch in the top 20 busts is not worth the time to read it, or write it.

Tim Couch was the # 1 overall pick in 1998 by Cleveland a can't miss QB and is basically out of the league and never was a factor.

They have Akili Smith on there and he was 3rd pick in that draft.
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

Seems like the NFL is a bad system for Joey.
He did make the list quickly.

Lots of QB's on that list... which one makes it from this year's class, JaMarcus or Brady?

Couch started 62 games for the Browns and his passing stats were fairly mediocre, that's for sure.
But he did start for them.
Akili Smith only played in 21 games over 4 seasons and had but 5 TD passes.
Clearly, of the two of them, Smith is a wayyy bigger bust.

    =Z=

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!
