    5. Bart Scott & Urlacher
    4. Jon Beason
    3. Demeco
    2. Ray Ray

thanks, I'm assuming for copyright's sake thats just what you assume Rod would pick on his top 5 right? :P
I think Rod could care less, he reads off the lists then huddles in the fetal position, while Jamie Dukes berates him for making shut a shitty list.

I think this list is pretty accurate for the most part.

Perhaps he should have included E.J. or James Farrior, but other then that Rod is on point.

The fact that E.J. isn't on this list doesn't surprise or anger me.
Now, if this were a top TEN list and he weren't on it, THAT would piss me off.

agreed, combine the fact he was injured, plays for a small-market team, and is good, but not the best yet, I didn't expect him to be there.

No real problem with that list.
I personally think Urlacher has been getting by on his rep for the past couple of seasons, but ranking him 5th or 6th is better than seeing him at the top.
EJ is on the cusp of making that list.

    Re: Top 5: Middle linebackers

Only issue I have is having Bart Scott tie for 5th

He hasn't played MLB and came out of a great system.. He is talented.. But top 5 already? Not yet atleast

Tatupu, Rudd, EJ, Barnett (yes still better then scott at this point), Farrior could all have been tied for 5th

Otherwise good list IMO.. He is good at these
