Who should we target?
I'd like if we could get this guy. I might even say Sedrick Ellis because Phat Pat is getting up there in age.Quote:
6. Kenny Phillips* - FS - 6'1" 205 lbs.- Miami
This smooth and athletic safety has the talent to declare for the draft early.
I really want Dixon... who is listed on the injured list on the bottom... but he should definitely be up there. Especially above Brennan.
Offense. Now that we have a stud running game I think good offense players will look great.
On a side note, if the season ended today the Patriots would have the 4th overall pick. Rich getting richer. :o
I think we need to take a stab at Jake Long. He is a beast on the line for Michigan.
2. Glenn Dorsey - DT - 6'2" 300 lbs. - LSU
Quick defensive tackle is an explosive performer from the inside.
3. Brian Brohm - QB - 6'4" 225 lbs. - Louisville
Experienced senior has the package to be an early NFL starter.
5. Jake Long - OT - 6'7" 320 lbs.- Michigan
Physical senior tackle has performed well on both sides of the line.
6. Kenny Phillips* - FS - 6'1" 205 lbs.- Miami
This smooth and athletic safety has the talent to declare for the draft early.
10. Andre' Woodson - QB - 6'5" 230 lbs. - Kentucky
Big pocket passer looks to impress during Senior Bowl week to rank with the elite prospects.
13. Malcolm Kelly* - WR - 6'3" 210 lbs. - Oklahoma
Athletic junior receiver has been unstoppable in the Big 12. He will consider entering the draft.
17. DeSean Jackson* - WR - 5'11" 170 lbs. - California
Explosive junior has playmaking ability as a receiver and a return specialist.
Ideally one of these 7.

your list. Pretty much agree with everything else... Except for Andre' Woodson. I'm not too keen on Kentucky QB's who are "Pocket Passers"... has anyone heard from Tim Couch lately?
Jake Long would be a stud and Kenny Phillips would be awesome too... I have a feeling that's what we're gonna see.

Thanks for the list.
What about Antoine Cason? I think we could use another CB??
If not let's go after a DE...
Would Antoine Cason be there still at our selection??? Probably not.??
KENNY PHILLIPS!!
He is the next Ed Reed.
We need to replace our aging safeties asap IMO.
They are not defending the pass well and seem to have lost a step.
A rangy play-making safety is just what the doctor ordered.

I like what our young DE's bring to the table right now. Between Edwards and Robison, they should mature into a couple of great DE's. Udeze and James are still young too, and when healthy, aren't bad options at DE.
