Re: Top 10 Underrated Wideouts of the Last 25 Years (SI)

    i dunno...

here are some names of WR's that i think have been castly underrated throughout

jerry rice.. this guy is good, yet people never talk about him
randy moss.. if he was a little bit more boistrous theyd respect him
terrel owens.. this guy is much too quite for anybody to notice him

those are some guy who the media never gives any attention too, and even though they have some statistical advantages, the media never picks up on it
i m better than you, so just give up...

Rice is underated??...He will be a first ballot HOF'er everyone knows Rice is the best.He played way past his prime, but He is in no way underated.T.O. has his face in the camera all the time stirring up sh!t.If anything,I think T.O. is overated.
Moss has had trouble with injuries, but before that, he was on pace to break all of Rice's records

Wasn't Tim Brown a 1st round pick, Hiesman Trophy winner, he's behind Carter and Rice, holds the record for most combined years, played 18 years, will go to the HOF.

How is this under-rated I don't get it?

Several of these guys were No. 1 recievers, some have been to the SB and some will go to the HOF, what higher ratings does SI expect them to get?

Cris Carter now he was under-rated because he was always mentioned after Rice, Vikes got him for 50 bucks off waivers and all he did was catch touchdowns. Rice may dance with the stars but CC is going to Valhalla

I grew up a Seahawks fan. You've left off Steve Largent, the greatest slow white reciever of all time. Not a fast guy, but he made a catch in every game for twelve years and ran perfect routes while catching anything thrown anywhere near him. He's near the top in nearly every receiving record and he played his whole career with Jim Zorn and Dave Krieg!! :wav:

A.C was never underrated. He was great and all op teams played him that way. I dont think Tim Brown was ever under rated just under radar. he was a great WR and needs to be in HOF 1st RD. Great list.

I can remember sport casters calling Zorn the "new" Tarkenton when the searats were an expansion team................
