#4 Dan Marino (1983-1999 Miami Dolphins)

#5 Warren Moon (1984-1993 Houston Oilers, 1994-1996 Minnesota Vikings, 1997-1998 Seattle Seahawks, 1999-2000 Kansas City Chiefs)

#6 Fran Tarkenton (1961-1966, 1972-1978 Minnesota Vikings, 1967-1971 New York Giants)

#7 Bob Griese (1967-1980 Miami Dolphins)

#8 Brett Favre (1991 Atlanta Falcons, 1992-present Green Bay Packers)

Montana #9, I dont think so. Do you really think Moon should be on there before Bradshaw?

I believe most Packer fans would disagree with the ranking of your number 8 decision.
I Love Kerry Collins (and John Rocker).

Who really cares what Packer fans think where we rate Favre, I myself would put him about eleventh.
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

Sorry, I can't buy Griese on this list at all.
He was an efficient QB on a team that passed rarely.

I'd have to check out Van Brocklin and Kemp's numbers.
I guess Van Brocklin was one of the first great passing QBs.
Likewise, in the pass happy AFL, I'm sure Kemp was a star but I'm not sure he'd be the top guy I'd list.

I've got to agree, already Peyton Manning should be on that list long before Bob Griese.

    What about Steve Young?

Re: Top 10 Pro Quarterbacks of All-Time

After pulling up some stats, I can conclude the poster is officially whacked.

    Jack Kemp?
11 pro seasons, only 8 as a full time starter.
114 TDs to 183 INTs and a 47% completion average.
And he's one of the top ten of all time?

    Van Brocklin?
Agreed, he was a 9 time Pro Bowl QB in an age where the running game was king.
Nevertheless, 173 TD passes and 178 INTs and a 54% completion average.
Good for his day, perhaps, but pales (with the rule changes) to the modern day QB.

    Griese?
192 TD passes to 172 INTs over a 14 year career, 56% completion average.
Again, not bad for the day, but were talking about a QB who averaged about 1.2 TD passes per game played.

How about adding Jim Kelly to this list?
Took his team to four straight Super Bowls, 237 TDs to 175 INTs, with a 60% completion average in 11 seasons, four time Pro Bowler.

Peyton Manning is currently at 244 TD passes to 130 INTs and a 64% completion average in only 8 seasons, with six Pro Bowls.

Steve Young had 232 TD passes to 107 INTs, a 64% completion average, ran for another 4200 yards and 43 TDs, and was a seven time Pro Bowler.

These three guys, in my opinion, should replace Griese, Van Brocklin, and Kemp on the list.
I won't get into who should rank where.
