The Top 10 Players in Football

The Top 10 Players in Football

...4. Jared Allen, DE, Minnesota Vikings
The defensive end is viewed as the most important piece of a defense. If a team has a good pass rush, it can compensate for a weak secondary. Jared Allen racked up several sacks last year despite missing games due to suspension. He has been off police blotters for over a year now, and should be on good behavior in Minnesota. If so, he is in position to register double-digit sacks on the low end, and challenge the record on the high end. Without Allen, the Vikings are a team with a leaky pass defense; with Allen, they can get relentless pressure on quarterbacks and become a Super Bowl contender...

Peyton calls his own plays, Brady does not.
Therefore, Peyton is better than Brady. Brady is a robot, nothing more.

Peyton also hasn't had the help of a camcorder throughout his career.

How do you know that Brady has no say in what plays are called?
Most veteran QBs will be given the ability to call plays at some point in time.

Fact is, everyone knows that Peyton pretty much calls his own plays, while nothing is known about Brady ever calling any plays.
Show me proof and I will change my mind but until then, Brady is a robot.

My Top 10:

10. Ray Lewis - The smartest guy on the other side of the ball.
9. Adrian Peterson - The most explosive runner in football.
8. Braylon Edwards - Makes incredible catches, and is a team player.
7. Albert Haynsworth - Holds together an entire defense.
Great against both the run and the pass.
6. Steve Hutchinson - Can make any RB look good. (Shaun Alexander)
5. Antonio Cromartie - Huge playmaker and one of the most athletic players of the game.
4. LaDainian Thomlinson - The smartest running in football.
Always knows where he's going to be at any point in the play.
3. Randy Moss - Biggest playmaker in football.
Can make any QB look good if your name isn't Andrew Walter.
2. Tom Brady - Quarterbacking machine.
Can make any throw and is the most decorated football player in the past 5 years.
1. Peyton Manning - The smartest player in football.
Very athletic and continues to carry his team on his shoulders.

I forgot about all those JA videos that I watched when the JA speculation week was going on leading up to the trade.
I had kind of forgotten about his little calf roping deal he does after sacks.
I wonder if he will be doing that this year in the Purple and Gold?
I kind of hope so, I think it is pretty cool.

Did he do anything like that in the preseason?
He better make sure he has worked on his sack dance a little bit in the preseason to work out the bugs.
I hope to see it quite a bit this year.

I heard him on vikings weekly talking about it and I thought he said the calf roping was going to be permanant, and his only celebration for sacks. Not sure exactly how he worded it but I think we can definetly expect more of it.

Brady may be a robot, but he is a robot with 3 superbowl rings, a super model girlfriend, and the recod for TD tosses in a season. Thats a damn good robot.

If manning were playing for the pats you would rip on him too

Fact is Brady is a pretty darn good QB. He is definatly not better than a lot of the greats (talent wise) but he is better than 75% of the guys starting in the NFL.

No, just one of the most impressive offensive lines and a guy named Marvin Harrison his entire career.
