I cry a little for #8 on the list. Jackson was an awsome player for ISU hopefully he gets a shot somewhere.

    9. Dan Mozes, C, West Virginia (signed to rookie free-agent contract by Vikings): One of my favorite college players of the past few years, Mozes was the center on a line that created all those gaping holes for Steve Slaton and Pat White over the past two years at WVU. In '06, the Mountaineer won the Rimington Award and took home All-American honors at center. He did not give up a sack the entire season. So what gives? Well, the knock is that he's too short, and will get mauled by NFL defensive tackles. The Vikings will find out, as they signed him to a free-agent contract on Monday.

Schrager mock draft position: Sixth round, No. 206 to Tennessee

    Cool!
Who care if he is short, better for Jackson to see over the top of him.

Hey when I played as WVU on NCAA 08 (360 version, boo yah) Mozes was an animal. I know this because he won some awards at the end of my national championship season.

This is a sign. A sign of great things to come. If all else fails, look to NCAA to predict future NFL stars.

    2. Rhema McKnight, WR, Notre Dame: McKnight came into Notre Dame the more heralded receiver than the All-American Samardzija, and after fighting through injuries in 2005, had an arguably better 2006 season. Over his career at Notre Dame, McKnight finished second in the school's career reception list, and gained more than 2,000 yards receiving. He was slower than expected in workouts (4.67 40), but no one questions his hands. I still think he can be a quality third or fourth receiver in this league. As of Monday afternoon, McKnight still had not signed with an NFL squad.
Good to see somebody else giving Rhema some respect.
This guy definately deserves a shot and I think we should give it to him.

The best part of my day is when I get down on my knees, with my head in my hands, and thank GOD for everything he has given me.

Each year, players make it that were not selected by the experts.
I hope Dan Mozes proves the experts wrong. And sometimes, the players that don't measure up to stats and "benchmarks for the position" are outstanding athletes that should not be overlooked.

    What about Chris Leak?

There are a lot of crappy players that were drafted.

I don't think Leak is that bad.

    He is a WINNER!

Hey, I agree man. Nothing against Thigpen, but can 2 inches really make Leak and Troy Smith THAT un-desirable? Come on.

Sorry, I just couldn't resist that opportunity.
