Joey Porter is mad at the Patriots, Matt Ryan collects a big payday, and who are the top 10 wide receivers of all time. All this and more in NFL Round Up.....

This is a terrible list! Here's a couple examples of how bad the list is:
    1. Randy Moss at # 5

    2. Terrell Owens ranked better than Cris Carter

    ???

I think that Cris Carter surpasses Tim Brown...even if "all he ever does is catch touchdowns".
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

Carter is #2 and I don't think I am being biased in saying this....

the point of the game is to score points! so of course carter belongs up there past tim brown

Carter is not in the top 5, and rightfully so. If they made him a first ballad hall of famer, then probably, but he isn't in yet.

By the time Harrison's career is over, he will move up the list. Go ahead and look at his numbers. they are amazing. another guy from our generation is Holt. another guy that puts up huge numbers every year.

At least we can all agree on the #1.

    Re: Top 10 All-Time WR's

The writer has some relatively interesting perspective, however, I am much more interested in a list from most of you on PP.O.
    ;D

I'm not quite sure how much I respect his opinion, never heard of him, never read anything from him.
He is a local radio host in Allentown, PA...not exactly a media hub.

All that said, CC is probably in the 4, 5, 6, 7 range.
All worthy of being a Hall of Famer.
At #3 on this guys list, Tim Brown was consistent, if not spectacular, with crappy QB's for a large part of his career, not dissimilar to CC, except for the QB part
    ;D.
And, of course, CC caught EVERYTHING anywhere near him.
I'm not quite sure why he didn't get the credit he deserved throughout his career and am hopeful he is voted in shortly.
Especially since there are arguably 4 first ballot HOFers who retired this year.
The writer was correct in his assessment that CC made several, if not all, players on the Team better, which, certainly is an important consideration when voting for a HOFer, according to Peter King, Monday Morning QB, NBC Sunday Night NFLer, and SIRIUS NFL Radio contributor.

Tim Brown? Terrel Owens? Ahead of Cris Carter?? Carter is better than both of them, every day of the week!

I use first ballot HoF voting to judge talent the same way I'd use pro bowl selections................I wouldn't
