Re: Top 10 All-Time RB's
I don't like these lists. Look at the bottom.
Future consideration: Larry Johnson
???
On the other hand, I like the next name: Adrian Peterson

Can't really argue with those top 5. That's some major talent there.

Re: Top 10 All-Time RB's
I think Emmitt was over-rated... any RB could have run behind that line and with the Offense that team had over those years.
They basically admitted they were evaluating him based on stats and wins more than on talent alone. The true measure of a man is what he'd do knowing he'd never be found out.

I can't believe Franco Harris or Thurman Thomas were not even mentioned.

I agree. I think Thurman Thomas gets a raw deal on a lot of these "Top RB" lists. The guy was awesome.I can't believe Franco Harris or Thurman Thomas were not even mentioned.Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

Hard not to give credit to the all time rushing and TD leader, that takes more than a good line to achieve.
In terms of my personal favorites, he doesn't get real high on the list, but he belongs on the all time great lists.
I didn't see Jim Brown in action, other than highlight films, I'm sure I would have enjoyed watching him play..
The guys on the list that bring the best memories of great running to me were Walter, Barry, Earl and Dickerson.
AD brings that same excitement to me as those guys.
I can't wait to see Adrian make his next carry, he is that intense and talented.

Re: Top 10 All-Time RB's
Peterson will eventually be included on this list, God willing.
Barry is still better than Jim Brown, IMHO.
I just don't know if Brown would be as effective a runner in Barry's era...great but not as effective.BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

Barry is the best IMO. Any man that can do what he did with the Detroit Lions should be on the top. Nobody ran like Barry ever.

Very surprising, especially since they named Larry Johnson as a future and Priest Holmes for honorable mention.I can't believe Franco Harris or Thurman Thomas were not even mentioned.
