    Its a hard call and with all that has happened to him then I wouldn't blame him for wanting to take some time out and away from the public/media.
    Maybe it would work from him to take a year or so out and then come back, with his record and reputation the he'd have no problem coming back into the sport when he felt ready to do so.
    Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

    Agreed.

    I can't imagine going through what he and his family are. I have a great deal of respect for Tony Dungy, and he is definitely one of my personal favorite coaches in the NFL.

    I honestly would not be surprised if he did retire. Or at least take some time off as AngloVike mentioned.

    Wow what a surprise, cant see dungy leaving the game that early.

    I think hes always been known as the coach who couldnt win the big game. see tampa bay and indy.


    However i dont see him retiring, i think he'll give it one more shot with a superbowl caliber team next season and if he doensnt win it all there, then he retires.

    You just cant leave a very talented superbowl caliber team like that.
