    Tom Brady's $24-million signing bonus

The structure of Tom Brady's $24-million signing bonus is holding up completion of his new six-year contract with the Patriots. The six-year, $60-million deal Brady and the team agreed to would put Brady in the top tier of quarterbacks, it would still be less money than Peyton Manning and Mike Vick signed for in the last year. But late in negotiations, the Patriots explained that they wanted to pay Brady his $24-million signing bonus in four installments. If Brady got hurt after a few years, portions of the $24-million bonus would never be realized. Brady has balked at the unusual proposal.

I think that the whole team earned it for him...he would not have been able to lead any other team to those Super Bowls! Them's the facts.

True. I compare him to Dilfer or Brad Johnson, they make FEW mistakes.

do u watch football, brady has amazing command of the field, is accurate NEVER gets rattled, won a super bowl with Antwon Smith running the ball, has no true number1 receiver and its debatable if those recievers are even number 2's yet he still puts up good numbers and is undefeated int he playoffs best qb in the game
it sucks being u, but its great being me

although new england does have an excellent team as a whole...i think brady is an excellent quarterback, and i think he's better than Vick.

Brady is a top 5 QB easy. I think he would succeed just about anywhere.
