The Chargers, Colts, Cowboys and Patriots, expected power teams, are all struggling. The Bills, Giants and Steelers look solid with a lone defeat. But with United Nations Day approaching, just one NFL team stands undefeated, and it is the Tennessee Titans. What's their secret? Coaching stability in a sea of panic...

    Consistency at the top huh.
    What a novel concept.
Problem for me is I am not sure a bit more time will solve our issues.
I sure hope I am wrong on this.

Thanks for the read by the way.

Titans are good, but the argument on them is they really have no beaten a good team yet. No different after they pound the colts this week

Fisher's a smart dude and seems to adapt to fit his players...that says a lot.

    Adapts to his players huh?

Comeon, as with any coach, the front office gets him the players that fit the scheme.
The onus on him is to get them ready to execute that scheme.
Sometimes that fails and the coach needs to bench them or move on ala VY and sometimes he gets fired but to think the coach sits there and says......

"Hey, they just got me the best player in the draft but he doesn't fit my scheme so I will have to change/adapt for him" is a bit out there my friend.

The only thing that can potentially be stable in today's NFL is the coaching staff.
In the era of FA and salary caps everything else is dynamic.
I thought it was an interesting read, not surprising, just interesting.

so where's that crowd that was bashing me for agreeing with those titans fans that their coaching situation is good and stable?
seems the media agrees with me here...

Giants won a SB by having the players adapt to the coach... when did Fisher win a SB?
The Giants hated Coughlin for the first year or two because of his my way or the highway attitude (sound familiar?), but it is now argued that what he did is why they are now a team that seems to play far beyond the perceivable sum of their parts.
On paper, there are far better teams then the Giants, but there are few teams better on the field.
I see Chilly trying to do the same thing.
The true measure of a man is what he'd do knowing he'd never be found out.
