Re: Titans shut the door on McNair

Hello every1, I’m not jordy. He left his logging open. (logged out now)
(He’s a team mate of me)

Though i am a titan fan.

Every 1 is calling the titans organisation harsh and brutal, well there are some facts u'll have to remember:

1 bus cook (mcnairs agent) was notified, (the timeline is uncertain, some claim de titans did it before he showed up, others claim it was after)
2 bus cook used this story to go to the press and divide the fans
3 Bus cook and mcnair are delusional, (last year mcnair thought about retiring and now he has 4 good years in him???) (Sarcasm) That has nothing to do with the new CBA cap room (/sarcasm)
4 They played hardball with not wanna rework, this is hardball from the titans. Business is business7

just wanted to say this, and keep up the good work with this site

Can't blame a guy for trying to get what the team agreed to pay him.

Things like 9 mill for a player who could be gone afther 1 hit?

but more on the doors shut for the trainings camp, if mcnair gets a injury on training.. his money will be guarenteed. The titans organisation was open towards them.. and told them they wont carry that number.

You know it would be different if he was asking for more money, the Titans signed a contract so he is just trying to fulfill it.

They're going to draft Young over Leinart? That's news. They may be looking to drop down a couple of spots then. Will the Jets step up to take Leinart? Interesting stuff.
What I saw last night on ESPNews tid bits was the Titans have turned their attention to Vince now, and the Jets are after Leinart.

Leinart actually released a statement saying he is going to be the next "'Broadway' Joe" for the Jets...

Does this mean we can expect to see him in a Noxema shaving cream commercial?

Titans | NFLPA to file a grievance for McNair
    Mon, 10 Apr 2006 06:34:11 -0700

The Nashville City Paper reports according to Tennessee Titans QB Steve McNair's agent Bus Cook, the NFL Players Association has intentions to file a grievance against the team on behalf of the quarterback, who was prohibited last week from working out at the team's training facility until his contract situation can be resolved. Cook said customary procedure with grievance hearings calls for an arbitrator to decide the matter. "We talked with them last week about it, and they either filed it on Friday (April 8) or are planning to file it Monday morning (April 10)," Cook said. "They do a good job of representing the players in matters like this."
