I just love the heart of Allen, dont get me wrong peppers is a great player but and it kind of seems like he plays when he wants to play... Allen plays every play like its the superbowl.... and i really dont think peppers would play with the injuries that Allen has had this year

    Both are great competitors.

I'm glad we have one of them on the vikings.
...Rodgers had to hold on the ball longer, giving players like Jared "I am completely insane and will literally eat your children" Allen time to sack Rodgers again. And again. And again. Actually I think Rodgers may have nightmares about Jared Allen the rest of the year.

we'd be in probably a 3 1st round pick drouht for the next years, but we'd be deadly
The Purple People Eaters would be a total afterthought. That might have ended up being the best D-line in the history of football.
But that brings us back to the whole discussion......Would his numbers be up if he was still playing LDE?

I don't think it was even part of the discussion after we signed JA.
I still was pronouncing the cat done and washed up. ;D
Marr, for everytime you are wrong some of us are wrong 30 times. Remember my Andre Woodson rants?
Where is he? Adaius Bowman? CFL. No need to eat crow. We are all off sometimes. Heck I expect us to win every game.
LOL, you are way to gracious my friend.
It was a good debate though wasn't it.....

I can't find the thread either.
Would like to see how some of the rookies are doing that some of us liked/disliked as well.

I remember being pretty high on Langford (RDE) 3rd or 4th round and Merling with our First pick to play LDE.

Possibly. It seemed to work for Reggie White and Michael Strahan

I was down on Peppers too, and didn't want us to sign him. However, he'd had a nice season.

anybody's numbers would be up playing next to Allen, Kevin and Pat Williams.
He performed before at LDE, what makes you think he's incapable now?

    Probably the two facts of....

    a.
    He didn't produce last year.
    b.
His coaching staff made the same assumption and moved him to RDE this year.
