CHICAGO (AP) -- Chicago Bears cornerback Charles Tillman is promising to be ready for the season despite his recent back surgery.

Tillman promised on the team's Web site Tuesday that he'll be fine, saying: "When I panic, then you can panic. But I'm not panicking, so we're good."

Backs, they are a tricky thing.

Anyone who has had problems with thiers can speak for how fickle they can be.
Fine one minute, open a Beast can wrong, hurting like hell the next minute.
    :
Just finish the beast and then it goes back to normal.
(until you wrench it again shitting that crap out the next day)

Damn I was hoping he would be out for awhile

I don't wish injury on anyone.. But if he was out I was hoping it was for awhile

Let me rephrase that for you:

"I don't want anyone to get hurt.
But if they do get hurt, I want it to be career-threatening."

Yeah I know what you mean. Any Bears fan wouldn't mind seeing JA or AD miss a few weeks so I don't feel bad saying it
    Skol Vikings! Go Cubs!
