    Yes and No!

Tice should have said no, but that is hard to do when tempted with such and opportunity. But once again.

I find him so inspirational today. Go p-rabbit!

Yeah, I also read this on ESPN or somewhere else yesterday but it said he was going to interview for O-line coach/Asst. Head Coach. So, while it would be quite a step down from being a Head Coach, he'll still keep his dignity intact and carry the title of "Assistant Head Coach". Supposedly it's the same thing Sherman might do with the Texans.

Re: Tice may land a job with Del Rio.

I mean it is only logical for Tice to be looking at such a position when Mike Martz is stuck talking about coordinator gigs under head coaches that are half as experienced as he is.
The coach youth movement this season seemed to catch everyone off guard and that has left experienced and solid coaches like Mike Sherman, Mike Martz and Mariucci on the outside looking in while middle of the road coaches like Tice and Haslett have nowhere to stand other than looking for lower level jobs.
Hopefully this kind of job is just what Tice needs to do to get back into the ranks. I think many of the coaches mentioned here will have opportunities in the next 2-3 years because the coaching carousel never slows to a stop.

I wonder how much it pays? Lots more than Red did for a line coach I bet. Ohh thats right we didn't have an O-line coach just an OC.

    I'm with Del.

The experience will help his coaching career.

He skipped a step here in MN to become HC & I think he did a pretty good job despite it.

Better than some other HC's.

I agree, he should take any position that is offered to him. If he were to take an assistant head coach/o-line job he would be looked at down the road for another head coaching job, if he does well. He has alot better chance of recieving hc jobs if he were to stay in football this year. Lets face it, this may be the only opportunity that he recieves.. Good luck Mike Tice, I hope you succeed..
