Tice has done wonders in Jacksonville
I listen to the radio here in Florida (930 The fox).
All they do is talk about how great the Jags will be when Tice takes over the offense.
I warn my friends by saying you don't see what Minnesotans see.
Jax offense was more productive last year....
The Jags play K.C. today.
Well the season and the KC game is almost over.
The Jags will probably lose this game and miss the playoffs. Last year they were 12-4.
Don't feel bad Minnesota Fans it could be worse....

In 2005 the Jags averaged 321.8 Yds per game
This year 335.1 yds. per game.
Points per game are basically the same.

Re: Tice has done wonders in Jacksonville
Exactly, the problem with Tice was not that he was a bad coach
its just that he was promoted to soon and wasnt ready to handle the pressures of being a NFL head coach.
Call me crazy but I think he will be a lot better his next go around as a head coach

It's kinda mute since one of the stats was false.

Re: Tice has done wonders in Jacksonville
Tice doesnt even run the offense.
He is not the offensive coordinator, he his an assistant head coach who works with the offense.

Re: Tice has done wonders in Jacksonville
Ahhh.... Yes Tice has taken over most of the play calling in Jacksonville.
His official title is asst, head coach/offense.
He is the a lot of say in the offense and thats why he was brought in.
Basically the plays go through him and its his decision.
I hear it everyday on my way from work.
How Tice is taking control and now the offense will be a well oiled machine.
Jacksonville had more success last year with there offense than this year.
Yards per game mean nothing.
Its all about scoring and controlling the clock.
Whats the Turnover ratio compared to last year?
The point is we could be worse.... Tice couldn't control a lot of things and wasn't smart enough to be a head coach.
I think he is probably a good person and maybe a good line coach but not a head coach.

And they did score more this year.

Re: Tice has done wonders in Jacksonville
Your right I did say more productive but it was brought up about the yards per game.
I know people are rippen Childress and I just don't see how Tice is better.
The Jags were 12-4 last year.
now they are 8-8.
How is that improving?
Most opf the games they loss were by 7 or less.
I know they scored 10 points more last year but there offense hasn't been productive at all.
Tice is not a true baller.....
