It's obviously a re-building year for the Chiefs, so why not do so with a new QB.
I wish him the best of luck.........if he and Booty or Jackson do well from here out it says alot about Childress and his ability to find talent at the QB position.
Or perhaps his ability to lose talent at the QB position. :-\
Not so much the Chiller, but Studwell and his scouts.

    ;D
    I
thought Chilly had input on draft picks, along with Studwell and Spielman.
Maybe I'm getting that mixed up with the triangle of authority.

    The quadrant of decisions?????
    "I don't believe it."

    "That is why you fail."

In a nutshell he does have a say but before he has a say the scouts have to go out and find guys that fit the scheme/mold/type of player he wants.

I think he has a great arm and should at least get a look, but I would have to bet the Chiefs are going to give Croyle a full-year tryout this season and then decide what they want to do.

No he doesn't, didn't you hear, he wasn't even in NY for the draft!
When it comes to the draft Chilly is kept completely out of the loop and has no input what so ever to what players the Vikings draft.

    Quick question.....

Where the hell do you think he was?
He sure the hell wasn't in New York, infact, there were only 2 coaches in that state during the draft cause thats were the hell thier war rooms are located.

Give it a break, your wrong wrong wrong on this and you just can't admit it.

Mar I know, it was a big argument back during the draft that thought spielman and company were there.
As for Chilly dawg's part in the loop I only have what I hear from you for how much Childress has for decision making.(Which isn't much)

I dont think he will be a pro bowler, but a solid starter. Do you think he would be the #2 with what we have at QB?

Re: Thigpen has chance to start In KC

I think he was originally planned on being that but found himself in a numbers game and the Vikes tried to slip him through waivers. Thigpen could be a good QB in a poor QB talent pool. Good for hi theough. but it would suck for us if he plays well. :-
