    Re: Packers Apocalypse !

everything is falling into place for us to make a run and take the division.
we faced this last year though when we controlled our own destiny at home against washington and got embarrassed.
are we a different and better team this year.
we are better than the bears, its time to step up childress.

Packers got womped. How about that?

Saints actually surprised me. I don't want to face them, especially with our pass d.
Ummm, we did face them, and our D held them to 14 points.

Actually, the "D" held them to 13 pts.
The total was 27 and Bush returned 2 punts for TDs.

Yup, that was the game that almost lost Kluwe his job.

Re: And then there were 2....

This is a long way from over.

As it stands RIGHT NOW, the Vikings have the far tougher row to hoe.

Minnesota's remaining opponents combined win-loss record is 30-25

Chicago's remaining opponents combined win-loss record is 25-30

Green Bay's remaining opponents combined win-loss record is 22-33

We all have 3 home games left.

And, frankly, our last 3 games are going to be tough as hades.
    Arizona, Atlanta, and New York.

If it comes down to the final game, I'm betting that the Giants will NOT rest anyone...just like last season.
Meanwhile, Chicago faces Houston and Green Bay faces Detroit last......go figure.

I think we take Atlanta but lose to the Cards.
It'll be interesting to see how we play the Giants.
We matchup pretty well against them because they are a big running team and we dominate against the run.
They've got that Giant receiver though, Plaxico...

Just the point I was gonna make. If I had money on who was gonna finish third, I'd bet on us.

I would rather have the tougher schedule that way you wont over look any games.... if were going to be in the playoffs were going to earn it...we will have to rise to our opponents...Besides Iam still haunted by that loss in AZ

only problem is we haven't exactly had good showings in big games at the end of childress's previous 2 seasons.
my only hope is that the defense is much improved, and that with the home games we have, where they have played mostly really well, that that could be enough.
at this point the hope of our offense keeping up with an arizona or the giants seems low.
