I see the commercials for NFL Network Having live games starting on Thanksgiving.Does this mean no football unless you have NFL Network?I sure hope not.Monday Night Football on ESPN means you can't watch without cable.Looks like the NFL may end up as pay-per-view.I can't afford that.
We are on NFL Network on Thursday December 21st. But you'll get the game in Minny due to the blackout restrictions.
I'm in Illinois.All they show around here is stinking Bear games.Bummer.

NFL Network announces 2006 games schedule
(April 6, 2006) -- NFL Network announced its schedule of primetime regular-season games airing as part of the NFL's new Thursday/Saturday "Run Up to the Playoffs" national package.
Among the highlights:
* The potential final regular-season home game of Brett Favre on Thursday, Dec. 21, when the Green Bay Packers host their division rival Minnesota Vikings.
* Home appearances in back-to-back weeks by both Super Bowl XL teams, the defending Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers (Thursday, Dec. 7, vs. Cleveland) and the NFC champion Seattle Seahawks (Thursday, Dec. 14, vs. San Francisco).
* Seven inter-division games including appearances by six of last year's playoff teams (Cincinnati; Denver; N.Y. Giants; Pittsburgh; Seattle; Washington) and four division winners (Cincinnati; Denver; N.Y. Giants; Seattle).
* Newly-acquired receiver Terrell Owens leads the Dallas Cowboys into Atlanta to face the electrifying Michael Vick and the Falcons in NFL Net's only non-divisional matchup on Saturday, Dec. 16.
* Thanksgiving night: NFL Net's inaugural game on Nov. 23 featuring an AFC West divisional clash between the defending AFC West champion Denver Broncos traveling to Arrowhead Stadium to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the nightcap of a new NFL tradition -- a Thanksgiving Day tripleheader.
The 2006 game telecast schedule on NFL Network features five Thursday night games and three Saturday night games from Weeks 12 to 17 of the NFL season. The start time for all eight games is 8 p.m. ET.
"With a terrific schedule featuring traditional national powers, we are excited to begin televising live NFL regular season games on NFL Network," said NFL Network president and CEO Steve Bornstein. "We have begun reaching out to those video providers without NFL Network and are optimistic they will ensure these games get to the NFL fans nationwide."
By NFL policy, NFL Network games will also be carried on free, over-the-air television in the city of the visiting team and in the city where the game is played if it is sold out 72 hours in advance of kickoff.

Week 12: Thu., Nov. 23, at 8 p.m. ET: Denver at Kansas City (Thanksgiving)
Week 13: Thu., Nov. 30 at 8 p.m. ET: Baltimore at Cincinnati
Week 14: Thu., Dec. 7 at 8 p.m. ET: Cleveland at Pittsburgh
Week 15: Thu., Dec. 14 at 8 p.m. ET: San Francisco at Seattle
Week 15: Sat., Dec. 16 at 8 p.m. ET: Dallas at Atlanta
Week 16: Th., Dec. 21 at 8 p.m. ET: Minnesota at Green Bay
Week 16: Sat., Dec. 23 at 8 p.m. ET: Kansas City at Oakland
Week 17: Sat., Dec. 30 at 8 p.m. ET: N.Y. Giants at Washington
Each NFL Network telecast will feature a live, three-hour pregame show from the host city, providing a unique feel for the atmosphere surrounding the event. In addition, a one-hour postgame show will wrap-up the action with interviews, highlights and press conferences.
The pregame show for NFL Network's inaugural game on Thanksgiving night will be shortened to avoid conflict with the Buccaneers-Cowboys game on FOX.
On-air talent for NFL Network's coverage of the National Football League will be announced at a later date.
NFL Network airs seven days a week, 24 hours a day on a year-round basis and is the first television network fully dedicated to the NFL and the sport of football.
