    Weeeeeeeeeeee!!!
    Best thread ever.

Oh, right. For the record, I don't think we need either one of these older guys. For one, I would much rather stick with and develop the youngens. Two, I honestly think our wr's and cb's could outplay both of these bums. McCardell is a has-been and Poole is a never-was.

I just pulled 2006 stats as I think they are the most relavent.
    Gotta agree.
His numbers are pretty much the same as what we have on the roster already.

Which WR would you let go to put him on the roster?
I would not let go any of them. I would let go Jeff Dugan.
I'm not so sure about Dugan.
We need big tough FB's in this offense or our RB's will take a beating.
CT and AD are kindof prone to injury.
Additionally, T-Rich went down last year as well.

    Defense is a bit deeper.
I would let a DE go if we knew that Erasmus was gonna come back and be effective.
You are right, I do like Dugan. Maybe we could cut Jayme Mitchell. Six DEs seems like a lot.
And there is the rub my friend.
We have to outstanding issues from last year......
Being able to pass and being able to pass rush.

I for one would go with the DE's that we have, at least until we see if we can get pressure on the QB and keep the WR's we have, passing on Keenan as his numbers are much the same as B-wade and T-will.

I just think we are thin at receiver and stacked at DE. i think we will be fine rushing the pass this year. I am concerned with the receivers. T-Will has shown me nothing. Sidney is my boy but he is raw. Bobby Wade is good but not great. Ferguson is injury prone. Aundrae Allison is a nice return man but unproven. This worries me!

I wouldn't say we are stacked at DE until we see if Erasmus is 100%.
I don't put as much into preseason as some but I do look for indicators.

An indicator to me is that Robison is the only one with a sack if I'm not mistaken.
For that reason alone I think we keep all 6 and see what we have.

None. We keep what we have because they are younger & with them on our roster, we already know what we have.

To bring in an aging receiver on the backside of his career is an unknown because we don't know what he can bring to the table for us.

To be able to make an intelligent decision, he would have to be clearly better than what we already have, not the same.

I McCardell is decent getting old. Poole is 5 8 to small.
