I dont think they will go as far as booing him.....but who knows. If I had that pick, I would go around and see what I could get if I were to trade down.. DD is probably the best player on that team..and they want to replace him! What are they thinking!??!

But...if they are willing to seek a trade for DD..I would take him in a heart beat, like I said earlier.....I really hope that childress will try to pursue tradeing for DD...!

houston is so dumb if they don't stick with davis, i can hear it now reggie bush gets drafted and people are so happy. 6 games into the season people are booing him; real smart houston.
Wasn't Davis plagued with a knee injury last season? In fact he missed their last 5 games of the season.

Not sure how his recovery from it has gone, but the kid was banged up pretty good so much so, the team opted to put him under the knife to repair whatever damage he had. Now scoping a knee doesn't mean the injury was marginal, it's just done that way nowadays!

Drafting Bush is a "HUGE" insurance policy and personally I can't see them getting another team to ante up for the #1 selection in the draft. JM2CW!

Davis would be a perfect fit in our new offense, the way he can catch the pass and run reminds me of westbrook and i bet Childress is thinking the same thing.

Troy williamson for dominick davis is started to become rue?

I agree, DD is one of the best backs in the NFL today. He just doesn't have the supporting cast. I just hope that the Texans are so high about getting Bush that they do draft him, that will make a proven NFL RB available to us so they can get a great college RB.

I don't think they'd keep them both, one or the other would start complaining about getting the ball.
They can send him to us, NO PROBLEM...plus we already know that he looks good in PURPLE and GOLD!!!

We definately shouldn't give up on TW just because he didn't put up Moss' numbers his rookie season. If the Texans are actually going to take bush, we may be able to get DD for a # 2, if they aren't taking Bush he'll be much more expensive. We need to count on Birk and McKinney, hope Fonoti isn't a bust, Johnson will most likely be better this year and take an OL with the first pick and worry about getting DD through a trade. We can get LB's through FA.

i will guarentee that carr will be one of the top 5 qbs in the league when he gets a good offensive line..as for acquiring domanick davis, we should obviously offer williamson for him..we get a great young back who can catch passes and become a westbrook kind of guy, while giving up our 5th string receiver who i dont see getting much time this year with the receivers we have, and burleson returning to 100%..troy became a complete waste of the 7th overall pick the day we signed k rob, so why not do the deal?

Good point, but do we really give up on him this quick? I think he should get at least get 2 years to prove himself. Think back to Kevin W's first year, a bunch of people were saying he was the worst pick we could have taken.
