Re: Texans exercise Carr option...Bush probably 1st pick now!

I would be SO happy if we could get Davis. He's a very good back who gets decent numbers behind quite possibly the worst O-line in history.

With a decent line, he would be amazing.

    Thanks PPE for the sig.

I've always been a Carr fan, I think he's a great QB and I hope he gets a chance to show everybody how good he really is on a balanced team.

I disagree. I think this would be a terrible decision by Houston. Dominick Davis is BY FAR their best player. They have weaknesses pretty much everywhere else other than running back. Their team will not be any better with Bush instead of Davis. The reason they didn't have a really good rushing attack, was because they have a POS line. Bush will have no more success than Davis did.

If they were smart, they'd trade the 1st pick to someone like the Jets, and pick of D'Brickashaw Ferguson, who would actually improve their team.

    Thanks PPE for the sig.

Carr can be a stud QB with the right support. When he has time he is extremely accurate with a strong arm. I wouldn't mind him On the Vikings if they had the line to compliment him.

IMO Houston is bluffing. They are telling the rest of league that if you want Reggie Bush you are going to have to have the first pick. This gives Houston a lot of leverage on any team that is seeking a possible trade.

I agree, DD is one of the best backs in the NFL today. He just doesn't have the supporting cast. I just hope that the Texans are so high about getting Bush that they do draft him, that will make a proven NFL RB available to us so they can get a great college RB.

I don't think they'd keep them both, one or the other would start complaining about getting the ball.

Houston is making the worst decision if they draft reggie....now, im not saying that reggie is bad..because by all means..hes not! He's amazing! But houston has far more needs then the rb position right now..!

But, if they do draft reggie....I would accept DD, in a trade, with open arms! For those of you who dont know....he will be entering only his 4th year next year...and has put up nice stats behind a POS line! You can see for yourself..!

DD is the best back we could get. Even if we draft one of the top backs, it's a gamble. DD has proven he's a great NFL back. It's wishful thinking, but:
    Texans take Bush
    DD holds out
    Texans trade DD for Edinger

I would have put a smiley face on the last comment, but I'm new here and can't find them.

houston is so dumb if they don't stick with davis, i can hear it now reggie bush gets drafted and people are so happy. 6 games into the season people are booing him; real smart houston.
I don t buy Wisconsin cheese.
