I've had the Saints as my second tier team for decades too, Pure torture.
Good thing we Vikings fans don't have to endure any of that!

I'm not one of the people who thought that the Texans should have taken Reggie Bush.
Their best player was (and maybe will be) Dominick Davis and they needed a force on the Dline.
If they were to draft Bush then it would really be a zero-sum adittion because your best player is running back so either you take out your best player, they split carries or the rookie doesn't play.
They also have a pretty good kick returner so Reggie Bush just didn't make sense.
Mario Williams made much more sense and D'Brickashaw Ferguson arguably made the most sense.
When it s all said and done, you ll have to admit we re number 1!

The saints have a very good RB too.

The Texans could have easily drafted Bush and traded DD to fill the need. Then they could have reaped some money from the hype.

Maybe the NFL wanted Bush to go to NO so it would help a struggling team in terms of economics. I wouldn't put it past them.

The way VInce and Bush have played the last two weeks, it is kicking them in the butt here in Houston.
    Lots of talk!

That run by Vince put the nail in this coffin.

Wow I am sure the skeptics lose sleep with that info lol.

Texans are sure showing the saints who made the right moves they are 2-6, the saints are selling out ball games and are atop the NFC.

I think the Saints would do it all over againt given the choice.
The question isn't whether or not the Saints would do it all over again (as they had the #2 pick), but whether or not Houston would.

The best player on the Houston Texans roster right now is Andre Johnson, and on defense, it's DeMeco Ryans (who the Vikings could have drafted ahead of Greenway).
He leads the team with 127 tackles from the MLB spot.

    Doubtful.
They would be much better off with either Bush or Vince Young, especially Young.
The organization has so many problems that at least they would give their fans some excitement on Sunday.
Mario doesn't have near the ability to impact a game like Reggie or Vince.

Funny thread title though after listening to all the local radio stations in Texas keep bashing the Texans ownership for not taking their hometown boy Vince.
I don't think you would get many Texans fans saying they did right by picking Mario over Vince or Reggie.
