The Associated Press reports Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak is concerned over the status of injured RB Domanick Davis (knee), who could be in jeopardy of missing the entire 2006 season. "There's not much we can do about it, but I'm very concerned about that situation," Kubiak said. "I know it's been very frustrating for him. All we can do is be there for him. I'm more concerned about him right now and doing what's right for him."

Reggie Bush would be looking really good right now in Texan Uni, but they were cheap and it's going to cost them.

I've also read several reports that Mario Williams looks totally overmatched when he's out there.

This is the type of story I hate to read, even if it is about a Texan.....I don't enjoy seeing any players losing out on a season because of a pre-season injury, espeicaly if the injury was recieved during a pre-season game or practice..

I hope the news isn't as bad for DD as it sounds it may turn out to be...

Kubiak mentioned in the first blurb in the thread that he was '...more concerned about him right now and doing what's right for him.'
I guess being unemployed is what's right for him.

That's a shame there... especially about him maybe getting cut.

Does anybody know which running back I should pick up since DD might be out?

The Texans made the best choice for their team...given what they knew in April...it was assumed that Davis would be ready for the season...and to second-guess them would be to assume that no one ever gets injured.
F*** Reggie Bush...he is a greedy bastard and I am glad that he can NEVER claim to be the #1 overall draft pick of the 2006 draft.
That said, I wish him a great career and that he someday leads the Saints to a Super Bowl win (after the Vikings have gotten 4 or 5 trophies first, of course!).
