Re: Ten Biggest Early Disappointments in the NFL

Tampa has to be one of the biggest disappointments this season considering they were a playoff team last season and so far they have an offense that is only slightly better than a hapless Oakland team.

Robert Gallery has been a big dissapoint for the Oakland Raiders.

I still remember when he got drafted, he was suppose to be the next great tackle in the NFL.

Obviously, it didn't turn out that way.

And to think, the Raiders could
    have had Larry Fitzgerald.

Gallery seems soft and he has slow feet which spells doom for a LT, but he is only the beginning of the Raiders problems.

They make it sound like something changed here!
    :

I would like MOSS back with a revised contract.
I think he would fall into place under Childress and bring back some threat to our pathetic Offense.
He's gifted and not obnoxious like T.O.
Not me! He had like 2 catches for 32 yds last week.
    ;D
    Not his fault.

The raiders seem to think they can take 7 step drops, but they have the worst line in the league, and incompetent QBs.

I think those 2 passes to Moss last week were the only two they completed ;D

Yeah, he has that typical height and size of a dominant left tackle, but his technique
    is not there.

I also thought Jake Grove would be better than he has been playing because he was great in college at VT,

Tampa Bay and the Panthers are easily two of the biggest dissapointments.

I don't care how pathetic his stats are in Oakland.
We all know the talent & the player is still there . . . waiting.

The guy is a competitor and I think he'll thrive in the atmosphere created by CHILDRESS . . . plus he gets to play with his old NFL buddy . . . BJ.

His contract needs to be reworked with less base salary & more performance bonuses though.
Oakland is wasting his talents by not getting him the ball.

We can send the Raiders some of our players that seem to be made out of glass.

i can not believe that we are one the topic of Moss again.
Yes he has ability but why in the world would you want him back on the team?
the man is a complete A$$! He is not a role model for kids he doesn't even have good sportmanship.
Plus to him everything and everyone had to revolve around him. not right he is not the only memeber on the team and I hope we never have the chance or that childress never even thinks about gettting him back! >
