Ted Cotrell Sucks

Remember the HORRIBLE job he did as our D- Cooridnator?
I saw the Vikes get crushed by the Bengals a couple of years ago in Cincy.
The D-players were litterally standing around in the huddle with their hands outstreached looking at each other lost...totally.
That loser is really what cost us that season.....Now in San Diego, he is costing the Chargers their season.
Im still mad he was ever hired.

You have to remember that all of SD coaches were hired late. all of the top quality coaches where long gone and you are stuck picking up of the scrap heap. Blame the GM on this one.

SD went backwards in terms of progress in the off season. Getting rid of Shotty was the first mistake, then hiring Teddy boy was the second.I don't get it tho...Cottrell has or never was a good D coordinator. Hes always been pretty average.So why did SD wait around and sign his lame arse?

I could do a lot of research and run down the timing, but the basic upshot was they waited to fire Marty and, by the time they did, they'd also lost Wade Phillips to Dallas.
Phillips was, supposedly, who they wanted to be the next head coach, but they fucked around and he left.

They deserve what they got.
Firing a coach after a 14-2 season.
That is crazy.
They made their bed and now they have to sleep in it.

Cotrell might suck... but Turner was a much worse hire than Cotrell.

All his other past debacles aside, He took a 14-2 team... and only 4 games into the season turned them into a 1-3 team. I don't know how he keeps getting work.

Serves that arrogant GM, A.J Smith, right...I hate to see the Chargers implode, but I am glad that he ends up looking like an egotistical idiot...which he is!!!

I tell you what...if Chilly doesn't make progress by the end of the year...I'd take Schottenheimer as Chilly's replacement...no problem.

That and everyone thinks LT is the perfect NFL player. Watching him explode and complain the last few weeks shows LT does indeed have a bad side.
