    Pollard is done.
Are you going by his stats for the last couple of years or is there a real reason as to your comment?
I'm going by the fact he's old and has not produced in years.
    Really?

    2007 stats:

    Marcus Pollard
31 receptions for 273 yards and 2 TDS
    3 drops and 1 fumble

    Visanthe Shiancoe
27 receptions for 323 yards and 1 TD
    2 drops and 1 fumble

    Seems very similiar.

That is not even mentioning his career high of 8 TDs and 739 yards but experience does not matter and multiple other productive seasons.
    :

Seattle IMO had way better WRs getting open as well.

I would sign him and cut Mills. Mills hasn't even step on the field yet due to an injury.
    I hope your not serious...
    I am dead serious.
Then you're just strange. To want to cut a promising player in favor of a sure fire has been
How do you know he is promising? Have you seen him play?
I saw him at a few plays in the end of last season. He looked like a natural pass catcher. Add to that, that he's young, and has several coaches praises, as well as good scouting reports from training observations.

Where as Pollard is just old, getting older, and slow as hell.

You are making a judgment on 2 catches for 26 yards last year???????

The scouts also said that Troy Williamson was good.

    Mills is also injured.

[/quote]I'm only valuing him on the basis that I got. I presented it fairly. And I'll still take that shot at a young player that might be something or nothing, over Pollard.

I'd take Dugan and Nafu Tahi over him too.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

Thats funny because he had one of his better years the first year for Detroit. You might want to check his stats before you start making assumptions. He had the same stats as Shank did last year. The second year with Detroit his production was down because of Dan Campbell.
