8 games seems about right, the next suspension should be a year and the next one life time.

8 games seems a tad short, IMHO.

PacMan got a year for a succession of smallish sorts of things - right up until the big Vegas "Make-it-Rain" shooting.

    Tank had back-to-back big things.
First the arrest (and conviction + jail - I think that adds levels of seriousness to the offense in the eyes of the NFL) for the guns in his house and then the nightclub thing where his bodyguard was killed.
I could see a year happening here, based on the severity of the incidents.

    =Z=
Then, the night before he is to meet with Goodell, he goes to a strip club again.

While he might have behaved that night there, it's the principle of the thing, being that is where his last trouble stemmed from.

He should be avoiding them if he wants to get back in good graces with the NFL.

Well - that was PacMan, not Tank.
I don't think Jones did his appeal any favors by doing that.

But the issue to me is the strength of the offenses and the "bad light" which Tank focused upon the NFL.
Were there billions of stories about Tank and the judge letting him play during Super Bowl week?
Every one of those is a witness for the prosecution.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

Sure, Johnson is portraying himself as a new man after doing 60 days in jail, but NFL commissioner Goodell must stand firm
