Thread: Take the high road Denny

........In the National FOOTBALL League, both teams want to win.
But in the National Football league, only one team can win and that
means that the team coached by Denny Green is probably not going to
win.

We were who you thought we were and you were who we thought you were.
You let us off the hook.

Maybe you should fire your DEFENSIVE coordinator after this game. At any rate,
make sure you point the finger and
blame it on someone else because you don't take any blame for anything.
Everyone else is accountable except you.

Remember Denny, there's no room for crybabies......but plenty of room
for dessert.

That was the main thing I didn't like about Denny.
He always pointed fingers.
It's the job of the head coach to take the heat and deflect it from the team, he doesn't do that.

Yeah I agree. You never see a good coach blaming everything bad
on everyone else. When a coach takes the blame for a loss, people will
usually say, "Well that wasn't HIS fault that the QB threw 4 interceptions
or the RB fumbled." People respect that and I think the players respect
that, too.

He made a MAJOR mistake after they lost to the Bears. I would have tried
to pull the team together after a tough loss like that and tell everyone
we can build on this. We came very close to beating one of the best teams
....this means we are getting close. All we need to do is work a little harder
or make some minor adjustments. Keep your head in there and we will come
out firing next week. We are playing a much easier team (Oakland) next week
and we are going to take it out on them.

NO.........instead, Denny starts pointing fingers at people, blaming others
and fired the offensive coordinator. The team suffered from a major implosion
afterward and is currently 1-9 since that game.

He's a finger pointer, and when he was here he had no emotion.
The first time I saw him yell was his tirade after the Chicago mess.
