ok, the cowboys may not have made the playoffs but to call them a "surprise team" is a joke... the next time Parcells "surprises" anyone by putting together a playoff team, it will be the first time"chilifoot" wrote:

Re: Surprise teams in 2006
I think the cheifs will be the surprise team for 2006. they have a very real chance of winning the entire AFC. Considering Larry Johnson ran for 1700+ yards and only started 8 games, i think he could easilly go for 2000 as long as he and the Oline stay healthy. couple that with Trent Green and Tony Gonzalez, you've got one great offense. Their D is really only a couple of players away from being good. Sammy knight and Patrick Surtain helped alot last year, i expect they will use the draft to get a good LB. i don't know who they picked up in FA, but mabye they can make a bit of an impact.

Re: Surprise teams in 2006
I think the Colts and Seahawks are going to find it much tougher this year, with Seattle missing the playoffs and the Colts struggling to get in. I disagree with the idea that Oakland will make the playoffs, they have done nothing to improve their dismal defense. I agree that the Vikes have the tools to top the bears in the division, and the Bucs should be a stronger team this year as well.

With just the FA pickups I would have to say that AZ will be pretty good next year. I'm curious to how some teams will look after the draft though there could be some teams that pick up a stud RB like Tampa did last year and suprise everybody

Thanks Josdin

Detroit comes out and rocks the NFCN! They win the division with a 11-5 record.
