Williams temporarily lost movement in arms and legs, but 'will be fine'
Thanks for the update my friend.
They sure weren't forthcoming with any info last night during the game, at least while I was awake.
Kept knodding off a bit.
;D
That's really unfortunate to see; but hopefully he will be okay in the long run.
I broke two vertabrae in my back and compressed one about 10 years ago playing hockey, but was able to bounce back from it.
Chances are that he'll have no contact for a year... I never needed surgery and I was supposed to have none for a year.... with surgery required... who knows.
Best of luck for a speedy recovery.
I saw the hit last night. It sure didn't look good. I hope he is ok and can get back out on the field quickly
I watched that live. It was pretty scary. Both teams were standing on the field, watching. You knew it was potentially bad. I am glad he is o.k. (not paralyzed).
I broke three vert in my back on 1-1-06 I have had three surgeries since and things are not still right. I kow he will probably have the best surgeon money can buy but Mine is no slouch. I just hope things turn out better for him than they have so far for me. Back injuries BLOW.
