They made a good pick for once. Can anyone believe this? They will still suck with the lack of talent. But hawk is a stud and will be a force for a while. I liked this kid until now.

Hawk is really good, however let's see how they use him before passing judgement. The best of players can still suck if they aren't used properly.

No, the packers were projected by many people to take davis. I for once am impressed by this pick because I was high on him for many years. He will be a force in the NFL. This doesnt mean the packers will do anything. One good pick doesnt make up for the dozen of bonehead moves they have made in the last 4 years. Plus by the way things are going with the packers good players, once he is a FA, he will be wearing purple.

they will have a decent set of linebackers this season with barnett and hawk. other than that they're still trash. i wouldn't credit them with a good pick, they were 5th overall, if they passed up on hawk they would hear about it from the fans.

Well, they should...they had much higher picks than us! But we would have still outshone them if not for the trade with the Steelers to move up to draft Tavaris...we are most likely gonna regret that move for years to come. We could have had him at our regular spot and still got another player...we basically gave away the pick we got for Burleson.
