    Superbowl XLII

I personally think Super Bowl XLI is going to be a battle of the "superstar" WR's.

I know it seems like the safe bet right now, but i think its going to be the Colts vs Patriots in the AFC Championship, and Cowboys vs Packers in the NFC Championship.

The Colts have shown their fire at times over the course of the season, but the Patriots have just been plain dominant, i don't even like them but i don't see anyone knocking them off their path to the Super Bowl this year.

Cowboys vs Packers.. yes the Pack has shown some flare this year, but I just can't see them in the SB.
Not because i'm a vikings fan, but except against us, they havnt shown a running game this year.
The Cowboys have impressed me the past couple of games, they showed a lot of emotion the last two.
I know Brett Favre is amazing at what he does, but I think its the Cowgirls year.

If it really is Cowboys vs Patriots in Super Bowl XLI, i think it definatly takes the record for most viewers in history.
(even tho that record is broken most years anyways).
Cowboys have the dominant offense of Crayton, Witten, Romo, and of course Terrel Owens.
The Patriots have Moroney, Stallworth, Brady, and for course Randy Moss.

Ever since Moss has stepped into this league, its been Moss vs Owens talks, them facing off in the Super Bowl will be a major selling point.

Tony Romo has recieved major acclaims lately, he's a young QB that has been proving himself more & more lately, match him with Tom Brady, who has proven himself more than once already, you got yourself a 2nd selling point.

I personally would love to watch it

anyone else got some other predictions?

Eh, it's all good. I mean, you're probably right. The only team I could see in the mix that you didn't mention is the Steelers. There is a lot of mediocrity across the NFL right now.

Yea the Steelers have been on fire the past couple games, but I dont see them making it to the AFC championship game.
they're a good team yes.. but i dont see them beating the colts or the pats in the playoffs, i know MUCH strangers things have happened (see the last time the steelers won the SB :P) but the colts showed last night that even when they start out a game getting man-handled they can still pull it together and almost win it (i thought they were going to), and the pats just plain look unstoppable...

I predict that the Colts will beat the Bears 29-17 in Super Bowl XLI ... but who knows what will happen in XLII.
