Re: Super Bowl XLIII beats out series finale of M.A.S.H. for most watched show ever

I did some looking (and saw on the news this morning) that the amount of viewers did not beat MASH.

Capping a big NFL season, Super Bowl XLIII (98.7 million viewers Sunday) was the most-watched of all time, eclipsing last year's then-record 97.4 million. The game ranks behind only 1983's M*A*S*H finale as TV's top telecast.

But then some have it lower, even behind last years?

Not sure, but I think it comes from different tracking methodologies of different ratings firms... but I could be wrong.
    Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.
