Re: Sunday Night Football: Carolina vs New York Giants
Nice!
Ok....
So, what happens if neither team wins??
I wonder how a tie might play into next weeks play.
I know some feel that the Giants wont let up next week...no matter what they have locked up....
I think that would be foolish....could you imagine Eli or Jacobs or whoever, getting hurt in a meaningless game...that would be stupid
I'd much rather see the Packers miss the playoffs because of their talent then because of their injuries.

Re: Sunday Night Football: Carolina vs New York Giants
I think last year they played their starters for the simple fact they wanted to play the spoiler
I don't remember.. But if they won last year didn't it actually benifit them as well?

Re: Sunday Night Football: Carolina vs New York Giants
NOW...lets beat the Giants next sunday so we can say we beat the #1 and 2 seed in the NFC...lol..(assuming carolina holds onto the #2 seed..i guess atlanta can take it still)

Re: Sunday Night Football: Carolina vs New York Giants
well i think them winning is a good thing either way cuz they were kinda in a downward spiral, so if they were to lose they would probably need the game more just cuz you dont wanna end the season on a 4 game losing streak no matter what seed you got locked up.
this gave them the home field, made them feel good about themselves again, and may end up making our job a little easier if they do put the backups in at some point.
hell, the game might not mean anything to us either if the bears lose tomorrow.
then again, if we put the ball on the ground 4 times again next week, even against their backups we'll lose.
"self improvement's masturbation.
now self destruction" that's enlightenment

Re: Sunday Night Football: Carolina vs New York Giants
I foresee them playing their starters next week. Two weeks off for the starters is usually too much time. You get out of your typical routine. They'll probably play their starters against us and then let them have the extra week off before the playoff game.
