Suggs: We had bounty on Ward, Mendenhall
NFL 'aggressively' investigating radio show comments by Ravens linebacker
PITTSBURGH - Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs has been doing a lot of talking lately.
In a recent interview with an Atlanta radio station, Suggs said the Ravens had put out a bounty on Pittsburgh Steelers rookie running back Rashard Mendenhall and veteran wide receiver Hines Ward.
In the same interview, Suggs called for the Ravens to bench rookie Joe Flacco and go back to Troy Smith as their starting quarterback.

Re: Suggs: We had bounty on Ward, Mendenhall
I wonder if the Ravens are going to suspend him a game like Winslow then?
Either Suggs is really being an idiot, or there are some serious charges here.
It will come to a head considering these aren't really comments you can try to explain in a different way.

They better not hurt my starting fantasy WR.

I am sure he will try, but this is going to be hard to sweep under a rug. What a dumb ass to say something like that.
NFL WARNS SUGGS OF “SIGNIFICANT DISCIPLINARY ACTIONâ€Â

The NFL is taking the bounty issue seriously, and it wants to make sure that Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs gets the message.
The Baltimore Sun reports that Suggs received a letter from NFL executive VP of football operations Ray Anderson saying that if he says or does anything else that suggests he has had any part in a bounty being placed on an opponent, it will result in “significant disciplinary action.â€Â

I think this is just getting blown out of context.
