Steve McNair decided to retire at the age of 35 after 14 seasons in the NFL. He played first for the Huston Oilers, then the Tennessee Oilers, the Tennessee Titans, and finished his career playing for the Baltiomore Ravens.
I will miss you, Steve! Have a good life!!!
Re: Steve McNair announce his retirement
It's probably because the ravens wouldn't let him come and mentor T-Jack in Minnesota...
;D
On a more serious note, I thought he was a class act and had a great career. He showed that it is possible to come from a lesser school and still make a statement in this league.
Re: Steve McNair announce his retirement
I was never a huge fan of McNair nor was I a basher either.
Tough player that was drafted by the wrong team.
Would have been fun to see what he would/could have done if he went to a better organization that the Titans and Ravens.

Do you mean that titans team which he brought to the superbowl?
or the Ravens team who won their division last year?

i c
but i think mcnair has had i really good career, one of the toughest players and he just knows how to win
Re: Steve McNair announce his retirement
too bad the way he had to go out... he was an important part of the Tennessee franchise for quite some time, then they treated him really poorly upon his release
Like many here wasn't a huge fan of the guy (cuz he wasn't on our team :) ), but he is a hell of a guy imo, good luck with... life Steve :)
Re: Steve McNair announce his retirement
Enjoyed watching him play throughout his career, a real trooper.
