Source: Chargers do not tender Sproles

If Speilman, Chilly & Co. had any common sense, they would do whatever it takes to bring this guy in. This guy is young, and would be an awesome compliment to AD for years.

So much for CT going in to complement Sproles.

Sproles very well could end up staying in San Diego still. I think they are still hoping to work out a longer term thing.

I *doubt* he will be leaving, but now he is free game, which means he will garner quite a bit of interest (much more than CTay will I can tell you that much).

My guess is much like Michael Turner, Sproles feels he is ready to be the man somewhere. Minnesota is not likely a place he would feel he could shine.

Spot on, with one minor discussion point though.....

Sproles, IMHO, isn't considered a "Carry the load" back. He is, at best a 3rd down back.

CT on the other hand, has proved he is a "Carry the load" kindof guy, especially when it comes to 3rd downs.

Per NFL director of corporate communications Dan Masonson, "If an RFA is not tendered, he's a free agent, but not a UFA. . . . So Final Eight teams can sign him."
Sproles is fair game for final eight teams
