I bet Jared Allen is drooling thinking about the night he is going the have September 8th... ;D
Don't forget he has been getting canned several other times as well. If you include the times he was decked as he was throwing the ball & the huge hit he took last night when he ran with the ball, those numbers go way up.
and an INT IMO. They must of had a view that was not shown because I saw no evidence to overturn it.
They got to keep the ball due to a penalty, it wasn't overturned.

What really has to be noted is that 9ers were 25th and Bengals were 27th last year in total defense.
    These are not defensive standouts.
Given all the praise of how good the GB O-line and WR's, you have to question if they are worse then people think or is Rodgers the problem?

Should be interesting to see how GB does against better D's Broncos 19th and Titans 5th, in the final preseason games.

Their third game will be the best indicator since the starters play the majority of the game.
The last preseason game is primarily for people still fighting for roster spots.

Too bad, I would have loved to see Rodgers go up against the 5th rated defense.

I think you'll still see him play some unless he's hurting. It isn't like their only other 2 QB's are fighting for a spot.

I think teams have shied away some from resting there players completely before a game. We've seen playoff games lost because of it.

I agree... also it's not like Rodgers doesn't need to get a few more snaps under center before they start to really count.
    Especially against a good D.
I'm thinking 1 or 2 drives at least.

I'm shocked that GB still thinks Brohm (34, 54 rating) can be the backup.
    Flynn (85, 90
rating) has been decent against 3rd/4th string, but if they need to go to him they will be hurting.

So... what are there choices if Rodgers goes down?
    Culpepper?
Trade for someone that might have lost a QB battle, Alex Smith, Kyle Boller?
If GB's FO thinks that Brohm is ready to lead a playoff caliber team, they are really on drugs.

As Jamie Dukes said today, he will have some good games and some bad. Up and down year depending on how well he learns and how well that line holds together.
i think he will start super slow, and pick up later. but they should already have too many loses by then, and not have enough games left to climb back into the playoff hunt

I saw the Jamie Dukes conversation on him also and I agree.
They will be out of it by the time he picks it up, if that is at all with his proneness (don't think that is a word) to injuries.
I think we will see Brohm sooner than later.

Rodgers has spent so much time on his back that he should be referred to as client #10.
