but also at the slightest moment's notice.. a qb contreversy... if we started tjack, and he was doing bad.. some would call for carr, and other for bollinger.. and et cetra in all the different combinations.. it could backfire if whoever wins at training camp struggles in the beginning
i m better than you, so just give up...

I titled my thread badly because fred smoot was not on the radio here but that is all they have been talking about today and last week. Word around here is that Jake plummer is coming to town.

If you go back to the original post, you can change the title.

I will have to turn on the 610am
tomorrow and see what you are talking about.

I can definitely see people targeting Carr after not choosing Vince last year.
The only thing I can think of is "who to the Texan Fans think is their saviour in the recent years,"
    it can't be Plummer.
If they get rid of Carr for Smoot, they still need a QB.

I think Carr would be a great addition to the team. Did the Texans run some version of the KAO? If so, he would probably come in as the starter.

I don't think it matters if another team has a qb.
All that matter is that we can get the players we need to win a super bowl.

How about Brady Quinn? He's dropping in a lot of mock drafts, and is picked as falling to us in several, so if we don't pick him the Texans will.

Hopefully we won't be at #7 on draft day though, I'm seriously hoping we move up ahead of Tampa Bay.

Carr to Calvin Johnson sounds pretty nice to me right now.

    The "kick as s
offense" as Childress calls it. His version of the west coast offense.

That would be nice to see.. I have been saying all along that if David Carr is on a team that his line gives him time, he will pick apart almost any team in the league.. He has a very strong arm, and is quite accurate..

If the Vikings can pull off a trade of Smoot for Carr, that would be awesome.. Nobody loses draft picks, and both teams get rid of a player that they didn't want any longer.. Sounds like a win, win situation for both teams..
