Smoot talk on Houston local radio

I don't know how it is up there in Minny but the local sport talk radio here is flooded with viking talk and about fred smoot for david carr.

Is there any talk in Minny?

I'd take that deal in a heartbeat. Smoot's contract isn't gonna be nenewed anyway.

That would be a perfect deal. A guy we don't want traded for a guy they don't want. No one loses draft picks. I can see Childress jumping all over this, especially since he stated earlier that he was going to keep his draft picks selfishly.

While we're at it we should see if they want to trade a box of Phatty's poo for Andre' Johnson...

Smoot for Carr would be a steal if Carr still has any confidence left.

If not, it's a wash.

I do think, however, if our o-line can come together next year, and we pick up a WR and/or TE via FA or Draft, that this would be a great move for the Vikes to make. Bollinger vs. Jackson vs. Carr...

That would make for an interesting training camp...
